Getting around the Island is simple - buses and trains access all areas of the Island and run regularly and on time!
Accessibility is excellent on all public transport; buses and trains are equipped to enable passengers in wheelchairs easy access on and off vehicles.
Assistance dogs are welcome on board all vehicles - in fact any dogs are welcome to travel with their humans as long as they are on a lead.
All taxi companies are required by law to operate at least one wheelchair accessible taxi; the island taxi firms appear to have fully embraced this and there a lot of wheelchair friendly taxis driving around! Obviously, do mention you need one of these vehicles and at peak times you might need to book in advance.
