The Island Riding Centre

Accessible Horse Riding!

The Isle of Wight Riding Centre is an incredible site, focussed on providing equestrian activities and specialised accommodation for children and adults with physical limitations, special educational needs and social difficulties. Deceptively large, the site houses a mix of horses suitable for all ages and abilities, a livery, tack shop, café/restaurant, small play park and a large indoor arena for inside work and shows. Also on site is newly built accessible accommodation for both users of the riding facilities and visitors separate to the riding school. The accommodation is thoughtfully laid out with wetrooms, fully accessible kitchens and leisure areas, with each apartment having its own garden.  One apartment boasts a fully adjustable kitchen so users can lower worktops and kitchen electronics to suit their individual needs.
