Tapnell Farm is a brilliant day out for families with younger children. Boasting a large indoor soft-play area over three levels, an large outdoor play zone with huge inflatable Jumping Pillows, Pedal Go-Karts,a straw-bale pyramid, and, to top it all, the longest indoor zip-wires on the Isle of Wight, the play areas will keep the kids busy for hours. Once they’ve had enough play though, Tapnell Farm also houses a whole multitude of animals from the smallest bunnies to donkeys, alpacas and sheep – and don’t forget to take a pic with the plastic cows dotted around the site!

NEW! The Island’s First Aqua Park

Great fun for families, adults and children (age 8+), the Aqua Park lake features a floating, inflatable course with over 20 obstacles, joined together to create a series of fun challenges designed to suit varying standards of ability – the tallest being Mount Rainer, towering at 3.8m high!

The Aqua Park operates separately to the existing businesses at Tapnell Farm.

Good

Considering that this is a working farm, Tapnell Farm has certainly put the effort in to creating an accessible and fully inclusive venue for family fun. An amazing day out for all the family regardless of ability, Tapnell Farm is well worth a visit!

A few small things to note:

The car park is deeply gravelled; manual wheelchair users may struggle without assistance

There are two accessible toilets in the main barn, but please note these are very narrow and may only just hold a visitor in a wheelchair and a carer
