A stunning, quiet beach, St Helens is located in the North-East of the Island between Seaview and Bembridge.
A sandy beach, the sands gently slopes into the deep blue waters of the sea where swimming is a must in the summer months.
In terms of accessibility, St Helens is ideal. Car parking runs immediately alongside the beach and parking is free for 3 hours if you have a Blue Badge. Access to the beach is easy with few barriers and no steep slopes to navigate.
St. Helens is ideal for an afternoon stroll by the beach as the walkway runs around the entire bay and is smooth and flat.
Sadly, there are no accessible facilities at St. Helens. Standard toilets are located at the café located on the seafront. There is no beach matting so you will need to bring your own beach wheelchair if required.
To fully enjoy your day, it is best to know when the tide will be in and out as some beaches become completely covered at high tide. To find out the best time to visit, please click here for tide times.
